Contextify 1.7.0

Hello,

This update makes it possible for /total-recall to reach your whole team's AI history.

This opens up insight into thinking that goes well beyond PR descriptions and code comments.

Cloud sync already let your AI reach across every machine you own. But when the person who already solved the problem you're staring at is a teammate, their reasoning used to live in their session, on their machine, and out of reach.

Team-aware Total Recall

Now a normal search reaches the whole team.

When your team shares project history through Contextify Cloud, contextify search returns your teammates' matching sessions alongside your own.

The Total Recall skill surfaces them inside your current session, the same way it surfaces your own past work.

You ask why something was built a certain way, and the answer can come from a colleague's session months ago, with more fidelity than you would get by interrupting them to dig it up.

Every result names whose session it came from, so you always know whose history you're reading. Add --mine to limit a search to just your own context.

A note on sharing and privacy

The admin for your group can set an allow-list of the projects that are eligible to be shared. This first line of privacy is set on the organization's side.

A second layer is yours. Sharing is per project, and you turn it on yourself. Each project stays yours until you share it.

Together, these two layers keep the personal and non-work projects you have run in Claude Code or Codex private.
