Yes. The Free plan gives you the full macOS app with local database, real-time timeline monitoring, full-text search, Apple Intelligence summaries, and the CLI tool. Everything runs locally on your Mac with no account required. Paid plans add Cloud Sync across devices, web dashboard, team collaboration, and priority support.
Free gives you the full app running entirely on your Mac. Pro ($12/month) adds Cloud Sync so you can search your history from any device, plus web dashboard, analytics, and priority support. Both use the same app.
Cloud Sync is always opt-in. In local-only mode, nothing leaves your machine. When Cloud Sync is enabled, your transcript data is uploaded to Contextify Cloud so you can sync and search across devices. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and tenant-isolated. You can disable Cloud Sync at any time, and your data will be deleted from our servers. Enterprise customers can self-host for full control.
All paid plans include a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature. Start your trial, and if you decide not to continue, your account reverts to the Free plan and your local data is unaffected.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When upgrading, you get immediate access to new features. When downgrading, you keep access until the end of your current billing period. Your local database is never affected by plan changes.
