The Contextify system tray app indexes local Claude Code and Codex sessions in the background. Query that history from the Windows command line, or enable Contextify Cloud when you want it to follow you to another device.

Contextify 1.8.0 for Windows runs on x64 and ARM64.

Use contextify.exe to inspect and search the history indexed on your Windows machine.
Syncs when you choose
Sign into Contextify Cloud from the tray app when you want indexed history available through your account.
Keeps controls visible
The tray menu provides Cloud settings, manual sync, ingestion controls, and Quit Contextify.
Starts only when enabled
Start at login is opt-in. You decide whether Contextify launches with your Windows session.
How it works
Index locally. Add Cloud sync for cross-device access.
Indexing happens on the Windows machine. Local command-line access does not require Cloud. Cloud sync makes indexed history available through your account.

Claude Code and Codex continue writing their supported local transcripts. - Let the tray app index them.
The background app processes session history and reports its state through Ingestion Health. - Query or sync the result.

What to know about Contextify for Windows
Which architecture will I need?
Use x64 for a Windows 11 PC with an Intel or AMD processor. Windows on ARM PCs use ARM64.
Does Contextify support Windows on ARM?
Yes. Contextify includes ARM64 for Windows 11 PCs with ARM processors.
Does it have the history browser available in the Mac app?

How will updates work?
Open the notification-area menu and choose Check for Updates. Contextify downloads a newer release from the stable channel for the installed architecture and hands installation to the built-in updater.
